If you see our crews out working this week, please offer them a drink or light snack to help stay cool! If not, at least wave hello, but use your whole hand if you don’t mind. 😂

These are some of the hardest working guys you’ll find. Despite that, the body can only tolerate heat to a certain point before it becomes dangerous.

I fully expect production to slow this week and I’m 100% okay with that. If that means moving jobs back a week or two, so be it. If you’re on our schedule and take issue with that, please call me directly and I’ll kindly remove you from our list. Turns out the mental and physical well being of myself and our team takes priority!

It’s “Facebook Official”. Allar Lawn & Landscape has been voted as the 2026 best landscaper in the Republican Herald’s Readers’ Choice Contest.

This marks our fourth consecutive year of receiving this award.

We’re beyond humbled. As a true small business, it’s crazy to think that a few great people can accomplish so much. We’re now celebrating 21 years and we haven’t gotten here without ups and downs, trials and tribulations and just plain heartbreak.

Equally important is you! Our customers, friends, suppliers and followers. We wouldn’t be here, let alone celebrating, without all of you.

“Thank You” will never seem like enough but there’s not much more we can say.

PSA: If anyone claiming to be a landscaper, tree professional, arborist, etc. does any of this to your property DO NOT let them return. A company based in the Lehigh Valley visited our area late last fall and hung “door hangers” in a community. They were able to hack a few properties and get out of town while charging “Lehigh Valley Pricing,” leaving with a few grand.

Do you need to hire us? No. There are plenty of talented and qualified businesses and individuals right here in our area that can properly take care of your property at reasonable rates. Ask them questions, know their skill set and consider why they’re in your area in the first place.

Is Schuylkill County behind in what we pay our tradesman? Yes, it’s a unique environment. Drive not even an hour south and you can heavily increase your hourly rate, but this rant is about “professionals” taking advantage of great people. We’ll talk about rates another time.
