PSA: If anyone claiming to be a landscaper, tree professional, arborist, etc. does any of this to your property DO NOT let them return. A company based in the Lehigh Valley visited our area late last fall and hung “door hangers” in a community. They were able to hack a few properties and get out of town while charging “Lehigh Valley Pricing,” leaving with a few grand.

Do you need to hire us? No. There are plenty of talented and qualified businesses and individuals right here in our area that can properly take care of your property at reasonable rates. Ask them questions, know their skill set and consider why they’re in your area in the first place.

Is Schuylkill County behind in what we pay our tradesman? Yes, it’s a unique environment. Drive not even an hour south and you can heavily increase your hourly rate, but this rant is about “professionals” taking advantage of great people. We’ll talk about rates another time.

As a reminder, we are and have been FULLY BOOKED for winter maintenance services again this season, so we are not accepting new customers. If you call, text and/or message during a storm you will likely not get a response.

To our existing customers, please be patient with us IF this storm comes to fruition. We have zero tolerance, but it takes some time to get to that point.

Also, you will notice less bare pavement and concrete with this storm. The forecasted frigid conditions do not support the full potential of the ice melt/rock salt applied. Believe it or not, theres a lot of boring research and data that goes into these processes and decisions.
