As we wind down 2022, Alarm Brokers of Florida, LLC and I have accomplished so much.
1. During the summer our company became part of the only 7 Women-Owned Small Business in our industry in the State of Florida.
2. We were winners of Verizon Small Business Digital Ready Grant in our wonderful State of Florida.
3. We did a lot of traveling this year from ISC West, AvantGuard Monitoring Centers, A Becklar Company ski conference to even Verkada Summit to meet our IoT partners and developing our business.
4. We celebrated our 6th Year as a company this past week. Our Cultural Symbol Story in a nutshell came from my wife’s last $300 in savings and took a gamble on me and an idea. That’s how we funded this adventure and I’m happy to report she won big time! Today she is our COO and our kickass Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Fellows graduate.
I share all of this because today I was inducted into the “40 under 40” Security Systems News Class of 2022. This honor could not have come without the partner I have at home, at work and in life Mary Runno. Thank you to all who nominated and voted for me. I also share this honor with 39 other amazing individuals spread all through the US in this amazing industry. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL!
