Countryside Tree Service LLC

Countryside Tree Service LLC Countryside Tree Service LLC Always trying to be more affordable for you. So I lean towards trying saving them if possible. That is what I care about most.

Countryside Tree Service is a small business that I started in 2011 to provide a more friendly and comfortable work environment for the customer. Rather than a huge work crew, who's there and gone, but still very well experienced and will offer the same or most times better quality line of tree work in West Michigan. Trees are extremely important and depended on everyday, yet can also become very

dangerous and hazardous with situations that require strategic and precise rigging techniques to lay on the ground safely. I personally would much rather save trees by pruning them instead of just removing them altogether. It is not easy sometimes passing by a home or jobsite where previously I had removed monuments of a trees, that is no longer there.. I love being able to help anyone who needs it, and have over 20 years of experience climbing and rigging trees, to ensure they are delt with in the safest way. I do believe that it is only a job well done, if the customer is happy and well satisfied. I am very grateful to wake up and look forward to going to work because I love and enjoy helping others. That is what Countryside is all about..."The job I do today is my reputation for tomorrow."

I started climbing trees at 4 years old, climbing as a job, 14 and was a guy who just believed in helping people.

I worked and worked street to street like an Interstate Batteries route driver or a Snap-on rep —
except I was selling trims, removals, and “can you just do it cheaper?” specials.

Every mile taught me something.
Every stop showed me who was solid… and who was gonna watch me work from the window with their arms crossed.

23 years later I can honestly say this:

I could start over tomorrow with nothing. Nothing but my saddle, a dull saw, and a ground guy who disappears when it’s time to lower brush.

Because once you figure out who pays on time, who wants it done for free, and who thinks gravity is optional — you don’t lose direction.

I still know exactly where I’m headed
and the territory I want.

I’m not stopping until the equipment’s paid for, the schedule’s full, and the phone calls are from people who already know it ain’t gonna be cheap.

I remember being 60 feet up in a tree that “looked fine from the ground.”

Dead top.
Ants everywhere.
Homeowner yelling, “While you’re up there…”

Sweat in my eyes.
Chain dull.
Ground guy sending up the wrong rope.

Living the dream.

But every climb taught me something.

How to read wood.
How to rig smarter.
How to pack a lunch you can eat one-handed while hanging like a piñata.

Maybe the money was small.
Maybe the jobs were rough.

But I knew one thing:

Keep showing up.
Keep climbing.
Don’t drop it on the shed.

The big work comes.

That’s the goal.
That’s the direction.

And I’m not done.

🌲 Know your knots.
🌲 Know your crew.
🌲 Know which customers are gonna drag out payment and add “one more thing.”

It’s called tree work for a reason.

Copied and pasted, I did not write this, only changed the years in the beginning. But its very accurate.

The Living Grove. The Hidden Life of Trees 🌳
A single oak can shelter over 2,300 species, a towering habitat of mosses, lichens, fungi, insects, birds, and mammals. Even the ash, though more slender in frame, supports nearly 1,000 life forms, its bark and branches alive with activity.

Trees hold back floods, clean our air, offer remedies, and stand as living links between generations, witnesses to the old paths and forgotten names.

In the lore of old, great trees were more than timber. Many believed each bore a spirit, a Dryad, a Tree Wight, or some quiet, rooted guardian. These weren’t mere fancies, but deep rooted ways of seeing the land as alive, sentient in its own slow, enduring way.

Such beliefs weren’t about superstition, but relationship. A way of listening to the woods, not just walking through them. Of noticing the hush before rain, the lean of branches, the language of birds and bark.

Perhaps we’ve not outgrown these old ways, perhaps we’ve simply forgotten how to listen.
And perhaps now, more than ever, it's time to remember.

So next time your path takes you beneath the branches, pause. You walk not just among leaves, but through a world teeming with life, and perhaps, something more.
