Behind the build🚧

Behind every fresh road is a crew putting in the work long before the asphalt is laid.

These are a few of the moments before the finished product that you don’t always see, from the mills, the trucks to the skid steers that keep everything moving. It’s not always glamorous, but it’s what creates the roads we all drive every day!🇺🇸

Fresh asphalt, fresh striping, and... complimentary smoky skies courtesy of our neighbors to the north.

Just a few days ago, this parking lot was being milled. This morning, we put the finishing touches on a brand-new asphalt surface at Cooper Elementary!

A big thank you to Plainwell Schools, Cripps Fontaine Excavating, Inc., and Black Gold Transport, Inc, Inc. for partnering with us on another successful project.

A great way to kick off the week!

Today, our crew is at Cooper Elementary, working with Plainwell Schools and Black Gold Transport, Inc., milling out the parking lot in preparation for a brand-new asphalt surface.

Located just 15 minutes from our Plainwell Plant, this project is another great example of our team helping improve the communities we call home.

Ever wonder where asphalt comes from? Before it ends up on your road it starts right here.

Old asphalt millings are brought back to our plant where they’re crushed and processed. Recycling asphalt helps reduce waste while creating a high quality product for future paving projects!⚒️🚧

Virgin aggregates, recycled millings, liquid asphalt binder, and other materials are blended together in the plant to create fresh asphalt mix that’s ready to be loaded into our trucks and delivered to the job site.
