Duties and responsibilities for the position of Contract Administrator / Administrative Assistant include, but are not limited to the following:
Answering phones, filing, creating files, job books, etc.
Gathering and sending out project information (drawings, specifications, scopes of work) to potential subcontractors and following up via email, phone, or other
Finding new vendors, subcontractors and individuals to price work.
Reviewing paperwork for compliance with project documents (certified payroll reports, updated insurance certificates, vendor information).
Corresponding with superintendents, project managers, and other personnel for project duration
Assisting with other members of the project team on gathering information, information review, and/or sending
Requirements include, but are not limited to the following:
Must have great phone etiquette
Must have great intrapersonal skills
Must be able to communicate efficiently verbally and/or typewritten
Must be well organized, and have a heavy concentration in document control
Must maintain a neat and professional appearance
Must maintain positive attitude in all situations
Must be able to multi-task in a changing environment
Must be motivated and a self-starter
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs (word, excel, etc)
Must be able to perform regular housekeeping duties (sweep, mop, taking out trash, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms/offices/kitchen area)
