All of us at Dothan Awning & Exteriors are thrilled that our Chairman, Pat Thomas, was recently inducted into the Dothan Business Hall of Fame, one of the highest honors a Wiregrass Area business owner can receive. Pat has been at the helm of Dothan Awning since he took over from his father and founder, Raymond Thomas, several decades ago. During that time Pat has grown the business immensely, but has also given back to his community through public service as a city commissioner and Dothan's mayor. He still serves as chairman of Dothan's Downtown Redevelopment Authority and has been instrumental over the years in the revitalization of downtown Dothan. Pat has also served and chaired many boards across the Wiregrass in his steadfast efforts to give back to the community that has been so good to him. Even though Pat is trying to release the reins to future generations at Dothan Awning, all of us here will always be proud to call him boss!
