I found these pictures of a beautiful kitchen we remodeled last year! Unfortunately, we never posted any good finished photos, but this transformation was too good not to share.

We completely updated the space with new cabinets, countertops, flooring, lighting, and finishes, creating a bright, modern kitchen for the homeowners to enjoy for years to come. While we were there we also tackled all new stair railings in the house.

The floor is officially structurally safe! 🔨

We got the temporary support walls installed today. If anyone saw yesterday’s post showing just how questionable that load-bearing wall was—with missing headers and improper framing while supporting the entire second floor—don’t worry, it’s properly supported now.

Next step: getting the new engineered beam installed and fixing what should’ve been done right the first time. 💪🏠

Keep in mind, this wall is supporting the entire second floor. 😳

🔨 NEW KITCHEN RENOVATION — WEBSTER LAKE! 🏠

Here are the first few stages of a new kitchen renovation we’re getting ready to start right on Webster Lake!

There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes before demo ever begins. We start by meeting with the homeowners, going over different cabinet designs, layouts, and ideas to figure out exactly what they’re looking for. Once we have the design dialed in, we finalize the cabinet plans.

Because we’re removing a wall to open up the kitchen and living room, the next step is getting a full floor plan of the house and having the structural plans engineered and stamped. From there, we work with our local lumber yard to have the new LVL beam properly calculated and sized. Once everything is complete, we submit the plans and engineering to the town for permits.

Then the fun part begins! 🔨

We’ll be transforming this older, outdated kitchen and living room into a beautiful open-concept space featuring:

🔨 A huge new kitchen island
🏠 All-new flooring
Cable railings
✨ Open-concept kitchen and living area
🪨 Panda granite on the island
Black granite countertops

We sourced the granite through our partners over at Granite Arts, and we’ll be bringing the rendering we created for the homeowners to life!

2 and a half days into this pt deck and the boys will wrap up the strairs Monday while we demo this kitchen we are starting.

Another big day of progress on this renovation! 🔨

We’re about 90% finished with all of the interior trim work and this place is really starting to come together.

Between the custom window and door trim, baseboard, detailed accent/shiplap walls, and all the finish work throughout the house, there are a lot of details going into this one.

Still a little more trim to finish up before we move into the final stages, but we’re getting close. Can’t wait to show the finished product!
