I lived in covington, Louisiana for 14 years been through hurricanes Rita, Humberto, Gustav, Ike, Ida, Isaac several Tropical Storms and the flood in 2015 where we had 23 ft of water in some places. I spent most of them hunkered down with Donald Stein , who remains a good friend to this day. In the end there is people suffering and lives lost. The greatest thing I learned from them coonasses was not how strong one man was but how strong a community was. It might not hurt you or your property but it will devastae your neighbors. Remember a helping hand grows stronger with everyone that throws one in. Miss those hurricane parties and them good ole boys Donald Stein, Matt Stein, Jerry Tyrney , James Bowman Tyrney , Archibald, Allen Poe, w***y brown, Tracy Schellinger Moore and tootoo, and most of all Bowman "uncle Bo" Tyrney, you are missed my brother.
