Spring is coming. =) Reminds me of the old saying about the South, if you don't like the weather today, just wait until tomorrow. This coming Thursday, we will approach 80 degrees and break a record with a low of 66 degrees. This is the type of weather that plays havoc with evergreen daylilies. Here is one of my selected applique diploid seedlings. Enjoy.

I made a number of seeds from many of my diploid applique seedlings and will sell them since I am getting out of hybridizing. I can't guarantee exact parents because all seeds were mixed together after harvesting. Photos are representative of the parents. Most have Remembering Lives Lived in their background. I am selling packets of 10 seeds. I will include bonus seeds also.

As I draw close (within 3 years) to retirement and with plans to relocate outside the USA, I have made the decision to discontinue my hybridizing program. I have worked diligently for the past 25 years to build a distinctive program focused heavily on diploids (patterned and unique appliques as well as unusual forms) as well as double and patterned tetraploids. I am open to selling my entire hybridizing program. The program includes my past introductions (all stock), several thousand unplanted seedlings in flats, all seedlings including about 500 that have been selected for introduction, as well as the entire seed crop from last year (out of some of the most unique patterns and appliques I have seen). Anyone that is interested is welcome to contact me. Feel free to share with anyone who you might feel is interested.
