A kitchen refresh doesn’t always require a full demo renovation.
For this project, we carefully coordinated colors, finishes, and textures to complement the existing tile flooring, creating a cohesive and updated look without the expense of replacing it.
Many homeowners choose to keep existing flooring, whether it’s to stay within budget or avoid the domino effect of renovations extending into adjacent rooms and that’s completely okay!! Thoughtful design can make a significant impact while working with what you already have.
For this little demo reno transformation, we partnered with The Finishing Room to professionally refinish the existing kitchen cabinetry. Additional updates included removing the centered island soffit, converting the raised bar-height peninsula to counter-height, replacing the granite countertops with quartz, installing a new backsplash, and updating the electrical and lighting throughout the space.
The result is a brighter kitchen that feels completely refreshed while maximizing the homeowners’ investment while all done in two weeks.
