Job description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hardscape/Concrete Foreman to oversee and coordinate various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction management processes, and the ability to ensure quality control throughout each phase of the project. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
Duties
Lead project planning sessions to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Develop detailed project schedules and timelines using construction management software.
Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations (OSHA).
Manage budgets effectively, tracking expenditures and ensuring financial accountability.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project specifications.
Review schematics and blueprints to provide guidance during the construction process.
Utilize tools such as VU360/Excel for estimating costs and resources needed for projects.
Conduct regular site inspections using an ohmmeter and other tools to assess quality control measures.
Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the project, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
Not afraid to jump in and help as needed
Qualifications
Proven experience in the construction industry.
Knowledge in all aspects of masonry from brick, block, concrete to hardscaping aspects.
Strong knowledge of quality control processes and construction management principles.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards in construction environments.
Proficiency in project scheduling techniques and tools.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
