Thought we'd help some folks out because these are a few questions we've been getting asked recently 👇🏡
❓ “How much money do I actually need upfront?”
That depends on your loan type, financial situation, down payment, closing costs, and more. Everyone’s scenario looks a little different — which is why speaking with a lender early on is so helpful!
❓ “Can I use my own lender or do I have to use one of yours?”
Your lender is 100% your choice! We always recommend speaking with one of our preferred lenders alongside your own lender so you can compare rates, incentives, and loan options to see what works best for you.
❓ “Should I get pre-approved before touring?”
Absolutely! This gives you the clearest picture of what you’re comfortable spending and helps you realistically shop with confidence once you start touring homes and communities.
❓ “What if my timeline is still 6–12 months away?”
That’s completely okay! It never hurts to start exploring early. Just keep in mind some homes or communities may not be available by the time you’re ready to move — so it’s always helpful to connect with us early so we can guide you toward options that fit your timeline.
❓ “What does an Online Sales Consultant actually do?”
Think of us as your new home online concierge 🤍 We’re here to answer questions, guide you through the process, help narrow down communities and floor plans, and schedule tours — all while working directly with the builder. We offer quick responses and quick answers to make your home shopping experience seamless and easy!
❓ “What’s the first step if I have no idea where to start?”
Honestly? Pre-approval is a great first step. From there, browse online to get a feel for what you like and whats on the market — but don’t rely on websites or Zillow alone! Reach out to an Online Sales Consultant because we can often provide details, availability, timelines, and guidance you may not see online. Some homes and/or lots may not be actively marketed to the public yet!
