What a busy weekend refurbishing this deck. Luckily I was able to use some salvaged decking boards from a renovation I did a few years ago. It made everything blend in so much better! And if I do say so myself, my cuts are so good that no one and I mean no one, will ever be able to tell that this deck was renovated in the first place.

I had the pleasure of installing this front entry door today. It was a great little job to end out the week.
When choosing a front door always remember to purchase the correct size but leave yourself some clearance for proper insulation. Since this door has a mail slot which is just an open hole to the outside, I figured why not use an extra can or two of sprayfoam. That way the homeowners can't blame the drafty door on you. See, always thinking. Always ahead in the game.

I'm really glad I took my time with this trim install today. And when you take your time, you get a great finished product. This was a challenging trim profile to work with but once you get the first piece in the rest just seem to fall in place.
The painters told me they couldn't believe their eyes! I said to them I know...it turned out so good.

What a Friday it's been. Just wrapped up this custom trim package for a new client. Challenging moldings but I think I knocked it out of the park. Gotta make it easy for the painters right?
