Another 200 amp service replacement completed in Lowell, MA. ⚡

John was out on this one replacing an older electrical service that had become heavily rusted and corroded and was beginning to cause problems.

Once corrosion starts affecting electrical service equipment, it’s not something you want to ignore. The old equipment was removed and replaced with a new 200 amp service, giving this homeowner a clean, updated and reliable electrical system.

This is the kind of work our electricians handle every week throughout the Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire.

If you notice rust, corrosion, buzzing, crackling or other changes around your electrical service, it’s worth having it checked.

Three electrical things we’d rather have a homeowner mention than ignore:

⚡ Lights that suddenly start flickering

⚡ A breaker that keeps tripping after being reset

⚡ An outlet, switch or electrical equipment that feels unusually warm or smells like something is burning

It doesn’t automatically mean there’s a major problem.

But those are clues we want to know about.

Electrical problems are usually much easier to deal with when we can troubleshoot what’s happening instead of waiting for the problem to get worse.

If something in your house suddenly starts behaving differently, pay attention to it.

Sometimes the most important part of an electrical repair is figuring out WHY it happened.

That’s a big part of what our technicians do every day.

A homeowner might call because an outlet stopped working, lights started flickering or a breaker keeps tripping.

Those are the symptoms.

Our job is to trace the problem, find the cause and then explain what we found before deciding on the right repair.

Sometimes it’s simple. Sometimes it takes some detective work.

That troubleshooting experience matters, especially in older homes throughout Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.
