Just finished up 2.5 mile rehab on a rough road in Johnson City. Brought in a lot of base got it properly graded. And did a 10 foot wide 500 feet long section of asphalt with 2 30 inch culverts that had problems with flooding because old culverts were to small and in the wrong spot. Getting close to wrapping this one up. We’ve been rehabbing a little over 2 1/2 miles of road in Johnson city. This road was rough brought in our rock grinders, and bringing in alot of base and recycled asphalt with excavators taking out 5 culverts that were damaged and replacing them with new ones. Motor grader to get the proper crown. And have asphalt coming on Friday fo a small section. Should wrap up the grading tomorrow and bring in the roller and water trucks to finish the rest. We do a lot of block(butterstick) retaining walls. But this just was the first for us. A butterstick wall inside a building for the ultimate man cave. Can’t wait to see this one finished with doors and ceiling. Client didn’t want the normal framing and sheet rock, he wanted 4ftx2ftx2ft blocks. Client is pleased and on to the next project.
