Another great project is in the books! 🐾



Garbutt Construction Company is proud to announce the completion of The Dog Stop in Savannah. In just under four months, our team transformed a former karaoke bar into a modern, state-of-the-art facility featuring dog daycare, boarding, grooming, and training services.



While the howling may continue, these days it's coming from happy pups instead of karaoke singers.



A sincere thank you to our client, project partners, and everyone whose hard work and dedication made this transformation possible. We appreciate the opportunity to bring another quality project to life in the Savannah community and wish The Dog Stop team continued success in their new home!

What an exciting day to be a Fort Valley State University !

Congratulations to FVSU on the official ribbon cutting of the beautifully renovated Lyons Center. We are honored to have been part of bringing new life to a facility that has meant so much to the campus community and will continue to serve students for generations to come.

Watching the vision become reality has been an exciting journey, and seeing the doors officially open to such a beautiful, revitalized space is a proud moment for everyone involved. The finished facility is a testament to what can be accomplished through collaboration, dedication, and a shared commitment to excellence. Thank you to Fort Valley State University, the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, the Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC), and JMA Architecture for your collaboration, vision, and commitment throughout the project.

Garbutt Construction Company invites you to join us on July 24 for the Holton Darley Benefit Golf Tournament. Many of you know Holton as a dedicated Project Manager, great friend, and someone whose positive attitude has always made an impact on those around him.

On December 31, 2025, Holton suffered a devastating accident while in Charleston, South Carolina. Since that day, Holton has faced unimaginable challenges with extraordinary courage. After receiving care at MUSC, he was accepted into Shepherd Center in Atlanta and later transitioned to Pathways Recovery to continue his rehabilitation. Through determination, faith, and an unwavering positive attitude, Holton continues to make incredible strides in his recovery, defying the odds every step of the way. His smile remains as contagious as ever, and his outlook on life continues to inspire everyone around him.

This journey has been life-altering for Holton and his family. Through this tournament, we hope to help ease some of the financial burdens associated with his recovery and eventual transition home. We invite you to join us for a day of golf, fellowship, and support. If you're unable to play, sponsorship opportunities are available and greatly appreciated.
