Dear R&R Better Lawn Care LLC Customer,
Good morning, Rob here. I wanted to reach out and give everyone a few updates. As you will be noticing over the next couple of weeks you will see some new faces caring for your lawns. Due to some health and lower back issues and the 50-60 hours a week mowing 7 months a year for the last 7 years which incurred most of these issues. I, after much consideration have sold the lawn care contracts to another local family-owned smaller Landscaping service. I would like to introduce Obando’s Landscaping. Owned and operated by brothers Hector and Jose Obando. I have found their work to be more than satisfactory. I would not sell to just anyone. The Obando brothers have heavily invested in the purchasing of your contracts, so I feel comfortable saying they see the investment and understand that good work pays off. I will still be touring properties with the brothers and working on some properties to show them the best way I have found to accomplish all tasks. I will show them all properties and lines and boundaries along with setting the expectation of quality you have come to expect with your service. These guys are willing to do the work, and I feel they can be trusted with your properties. I looked at several potential candidates. Unfortunately landscaping only attracts a certain type of employee. Something I have battled over the years. Hector and Jose all though coming from small beginnings, still won out as the better more trustworthy option. Do keep in mind I also started out small with many of you and grew over the years. Hector is also a pastor at a Spanish church here in the New River Valley. I also being called into Ministry myself, feel this was no coincidence. Hopefully, we will be able to bridge other gaps and inspire unity within the communities around us in the future. I feel with minimum fine tuning these two gentlemen will do a great job for everyone. Please bear in mind that we are making a transition and starting tomorrow I am running about a day behind in our rotation. We should have all this worked out and back on schedule by the end my two weeks touring with them. My goal is when the Obando brothers come out on their own, they will be starting on schedule. All contact information will be provided at the end of this letter. Please reach out and introduce yourself and make these guys feel welcome. I did not give these guys your contracts cheaply. So, they have bought your business, at least for the remainder of the season. Casey and I, really struggled with making this decision. We have come to know and really have loved working for all of you. We cannot begin to explain how much we have appreciated all of you, our customers, and your loyalty to us over the years. At this time R&R Better Lawn Care LLC will remain open. We are still doing mulch. With the majority of the labor to be provided by our Church youth group starting here in a couple weeks. Which in turn we are going to help sponsor upcoming summer youth activities. So please reach out if you need mulch or know of anyone that needs mulch. We would be happy to be of service. Also, we will still be offering our tractor services for land and property clearing. Casey is going to open a cleaning business offering cleaning and cleanout services. We hope in the future to focus it more toward property management, getting homes ready to rent or sell. Of course, time will tell. Casey wanted me to take a moment and tell everyone how much she will miss you all. Some of you have become more like family than customers and you will be dearly missed. I am in the process of earning my bachelor’s degree in divinity and focusing on the start of my ministry. Plus, it has come time for me to focus more on family than the almighty dollar. A man could have nothing but his family and still be rich and in good standing with God. While he could have everything of this world and loose his family and be a mere failure in the eyes of Christ. My Pastor up home said, he has always wondered what one sold out man of God could really do. Well, I guess we are about to find out. So, I will ask you all to pray for my guidance as we open the next chapter for our family. And we love and pray for blessings protection and good health for you all.
