On this project in Dublin, Ohio, we customized two specific areas for better function and aesthetic flow:

​Exterior Apron Transition: Instead of running the main gray flake past the garage door, we switched to a tan hybrid flake along the threshold. When the door is closed, the apron matches the brick exterior while the main floor stays protected inside.

​Safety Striping on Steps: High-density flake blends so well it can disguise step edges. We added clean, solid gray safety borders on the steps to improve visibility when walking into the garage without clashing with the overall look.

On this project, we're wrapping up a 30,000-square-foot facility with a hallway poured back in the 1940s. To fix the deep, damaged areas, the team is troweling down a heavy-duty epoxy mortar.

​Why epoxy mortar? It’s a mix of industrial epoxy and sand, designed specifically for maximum impact resistance in high-traffic zones. Once this cures, we’ll diamond-grind it flat, skim-coat the pores to seal it, and lay down our high-performance topcoats.
