One of my favorite signs of spring are the cute little green buds on the trees. One of my least favorite are those pesky little weeds in the yard!
How many of you have dandelions popping in your lawn? If you hate seeing those little pops of yellow, I know a guy who can help you out 🤗

🌱 What is Lawn Thatching? 🌱

At Green Envy Lawns, we get this question a lot—so let’s break it down!

Thatch is a layer of built-up dead grass, roots, and debris that sits between your soil and your healthy grass. A little thatch is normal and even helpful, but too much can suffocate your lawn.

🚫 When thatch gets too thick, it can:
• Block water from reaching the soil
• Prevent nutrients from soaking in
• Create the perfect environment for pests and disease
• Leave your lawn looking thin and unhealthy

✅ That’s where thatching comes in!

Thatching is the process of removing that excess buildup to allow your lawn to breathe, absorb nutrients, and grow stronger, thicker, and greener.

Think of it like hitting the reset button on your lawn 🌿

Not sure if your yard needs dethatching? Send us a message or schedule a visit—we’re happy to take a look!
