After treatment, we recommend waiting 2–4 hours before allowing pets back on the lawn. This gives the product time to dry and properly absorb into the plant.

🌱 Frequently Asked Questions – Duluth Lawn Care

As spring gets closer, we start getting a lot of the same great questions. Here are a few of the most common ones:

When is the last day for prepayments?
April 15th is the last day that we will be accepting prepayments for the 2026 season to receive the 10% discount.

When do services start?
Our services typically begin early to mid May, depending on weather conditions and how quickly lawns recover after winter.

When will I receive my first treatment?
Fertilization treatments are applied every 4–6 weeks throughout the season. Your first treatment will depend on where your property falls in our seasonal route. We start in the Duluth area and work our way outward to rural areas and the Iron Range. **First treatments usually take a bit longer to get through all as Duluth Lawn Care uses strictly liquid fertilization treatments vs the typical granular that other companies use.

Can I sign up for just one treatment?
Short answer: No. Our lawn care program is designed as a 4-treatment system. Each application builds on the previous one to provide the full benefit and proper care for your lawn.

Is it safe for pets?
Yes. We recommend waiting about 4 hours after treatment before allowing pets back onto the lawn. This allows time for the application to dry and absorb properly.
