Most garage doors don’t break all at once.

This customer had been keeping this door going for years with bandaid repairs here and there. Eventually, the springs became unbalanced, the door became harder to operate, and the stress started showing up everywhere else. Replacing hardware just wasn’t enough, so replacement was the best option.

The new door turned out great, and the customer was ecstatic with how everything came together.

A little professional TLC and a proper spring adjustments every few years can help keep a door running right and prevent more costly problems down the road.

Happy Friday

Got this one wrapped up yesterday. New overhead door installed on the barn, along with the operator.

Took a little work to get everything set up, but it all came together nicely. And we got some great photos out of the job to boot.

One of the most common things we see is a door that keeps getting used after something doesn’t look or sound right.

What starts as a small problem can quickly turn into bent sections and damaged hardware

That was the case here. By the time we arrived, this door had sustained enough damage that replacement was the right solution.

Not every damaged door needs to be replaced, but waiting too long can take other options off the table.

Put in a new side door today.

The old opening had settled over the years, so it took a little extra framing to get everything lined back up. That's the difference between just replacing a door and installing one that's going to open, close, and seal like it should for years to come.

The homeowner's cat made sure to check on us every few minutes. Guess we passed inspection. 🐈

This customer had someone walk through their front entrance, and the door came completely off the frame and shattered on the ground, leaving broken glass everywhere.
