Simple math. You decide to haul 7 truck loads of junk to the dump yourself. That takes (on average) around 8 hours of your life you can never get back.

A 15 cubic yard dumpster can hold the same amount of junk as 7 truck loads.

But you save an entire work day and spend 0 hours at the dump.

For a lot of people I talk to, it’s not the actual work—it’s what to do with all the junk once it starts piling up.

Dump runs take time, trucks fill up fast, and projects that should take a weekend end up dragging out for weeks.
