🍂 Fox & Flock is heading to the Penn Yan Fall Festival! 🍂

Come see us on Saturday, October 3, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Main Street in Penn Yan! We’ll be there sharing everything Fox & Flock is growing—from our Farm Store and Refillery to targeted grazing, goat yoga and our plans for the future.

The festival will feature live music, glassblowing, hayrides, games, arts and crafts, vendors, a farmers market, Kids’ Korner, food trucks, a beer garden and much more!

Today is the day—the Fox and Flock Refillery is officially open! 🌿♻️

We’re starting with a small selection, but we are so excited to welcome you and begin this new chapter together. Stop in, see what we have, bring a clean glass container if you’d like, and help us reduce single-use plastic—one refill at a time!

We are so close.

We have $685,000 left to raise to complete the work needed for a certificate of occupancy including the turf, multipurpose flooring, indoor track, and the equipment that will allow this space to come alive for our community.

And right now, your gift can go twice as far.

Thanks to a generous $75,000 matching grant from the Lisk Morris Foundation, every dollar donated toward the match will be doubled.

🌿🎉 TOMORROW IS OPENING DAY! 🎉🌿

We are so excited to officially open the Fox & Flock Refillery tomorrow!

We’re beginning with just a small selection of items, but this is the start of something we’ve been dreaming about for a long time—helping our community refill, reuse, and reduce unnecessary plastic waste. ♻️💚

Thad will be there beginning at 8:00 a.m., and the store will close at 7:30 p.m.

We’re still figuring out the hours that will work best for our customers and our farm, so please bear with us as we get started. We truly appreciate your patience and support!

🐐🍷 What a wonderful evening at Goat Yoga Wine Down!

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Tabora Farm & Winery—stretching, laughing, relaxing, and, of course, enjoying plenty of adorable goat mischief and cuddles along the way!

We’re incredibly grateful to Tabora Farm & Winery for trusting Fox & Flock Farm & Grazing Co. to provide this special experience. It was such a joy to see everyone connecting with the animals, enjoying the beautiful setting, and making memories together.

We also want to give a huge and heartfelt thank-you to our wonderful instructor, Jenni Patchett! Jenni puts so much time, energy, and care into bringing these events together. She is an incredible instructor, and everyone absolutely loves her warmth, enthusiasm, and ability to make each session fun and welcoming. We truly couldn’t do this without her! 💚

🐐 Big moves for the Fox & Flock crew! 🌿

The goats have officially moved into their second grazing location at Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyard, and we couldn’t be prouder of the work they’re doing! Watching them transform overgrown areas through natural, sustainable land management is incredibly exciting.

We are so grateful to the team at Hermann J. Wiemer for trusting our hardworking herd and giving us this wonderful opportunity.

And there’s even more exciting news—the second half of our flock will soon be heading across the lake for our second grazing job! Two teams, two locations, and plenty of vegetation ready to be put on the menu. 🐐🌱

This is an exciting step forward for Fox & Flock Farm & Grazing Co., and we’re deeply thankful to everyone who continues to support, encourage, and recommend us.

🌿 THE FOX & FLOCK REFILLERY IS TAKING SHAPE! 🌿

Opening day is almost here, and behind the scenes we’ve been filling dispensers, preparing labels, organizing reusable glass containers and setting up simple payment options.
What began as an idea to reduce single-use plastic is becoming a real part of Fox & Flock—and we’re excited to offer more than originally planned:

🧺 Laundry detergent and fabric softener
🫧 Dish and hand soap
✨ Dishwasher detergent and spray cleaner
🦷 Toothpaste tablets
🐑 Wool dryer balls and cleaning pads
Square is ready on both our phones, and customers will also be able to pay with Venmo or exact cash.

Every label, jar and dispenser is being prepared with the same purpose behind everything we do: caring for our animals, our land and our community through practical everyday choices.
Thank you for encouraging us, donating glass containers and helping this little refillery grow. We can’t wait to welcome our first customers on September 1! 💚

🐐🌿 **GOAT-POWERED PROGRESS REPORT!**

The crew at Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyard has been chewing, climbing and clearing its way through another section—and these newest photos show just how hard they’ve been working!

What was once a dense stretch of knotweed and overgrowth is now open enough to see the rocks, ground and pathways underneath. That is the power of targeted grazing: careful rotations, portable fencing and a very enthusiastic herd taking things down one bite at a time.

This section is nearly complete, so the goats will soon be packing their tiny lunchboxes, moving their fencing and reporting for duty in the next area! 😂🐐

We’re incredibly proud of our working herd and grateful to Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyard for giving Fox and Flock the opportunity to demonstrate what goat-powered land management can accomplish.
