A year ago we drove to these same mountains and dreamed up .

Today we drove around (same mountains), dreaming of what is next with PERLO which is named after our 5 girls, looked at me and said I wish we had started sooner in life. My reply— I don’t. We were busy building our family.

Not that both can’t be done simultaneously. But what if that wasn’t meant for us. What if we had poured our whole lives into building a business and lost sight of the ministry we are called to in raising these girls. What if we had lost sight of what truly matters most?

But instead I watched him as he time after time laid down the idea of starting his own business. I watched him say yes to salary positions that he was overqualified for because they offered security and insurance. And when I would ask him of his dreams (even in our early 40s) it was always plain and simple— to take care of us.

He has continued to put his faith and his family first, time and time again.

And that’s why the mission statement of PERLO Homes is “building faith, family and homes.”

So thank you for entrusting us with all of the renovations and home projects. Thank you for all of the counsel and wisdom. And mostly for all the prayers as we take this leap of faith and build something great for our community and friends that we love. We are grateful.

From modifying original prints with initial hand drawn ideas, to getting cabinets ordered, tile and fixtures on deck, to layouts on official blueprints… we’re pumped to start this RENO project! Just waiting on permits so we can execute! This one is gonna be FUN.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE how this custom bathroom turned out! Client had the vision - we had the ex*****on. Solid core doors ✅ Trim details upgraded ✅ SW Shoji White paint with flat finish on ceilings, matte finish on walls and semi-glass on ALL trim ✅ tile in shower including ceiling ✅ diagonal tile floors ✅ Emtek hardware ✅ and other details…. Including QUALITY and COMMUNICATION, but we’ll prove those 2 in the google review. On to the next!

Renovations don't have to break the bank. We've been through many seasons where our design choices for our spaces needed to be within a certain budget. So we LOVE helping others find ways to enhance their space AND save money.
