The beautiful First Assembly Church in Searcy, Arkansas made a change that brought even more beauty and comfort to its congregation.

This large project included upholstering 108 pews throughout the sanctuary, balcony, and chapel. The church updated their fabric to better enhance the carpet, overall feel, and lighting of the space. They also added foam and upholstery to the backs of pews that previously had seat-only upholstery.

When our crew arrived, they discovered that the 2-inch foam was not sufficient for the sanctuary pews. Instead of settling for a result that may not provide lasting comfort or quality, our team went the extra mile and ordered an additional layer of foam to ensure the pews were done right.

From outdated and mismatched to magnificent! ✨
Take a look at the incredible transformation at First Baptist Church in Forest City!

Before our team arrived, the church had already begun refreshing the sanctuary by repainting the pews. Once the existing upholstery was removed, Team Leader Mike Snow recognized that the project would look even more cohesive if the pews were fully repainted in the areas hidden beneath the old fabric as well.

Rather than rushing the process, Mike made the decision to pause installation and give the church an extra day to complete the painting properly. Our team returned the following day to install the new upholstery — and the result was absolutely stunning.

This project is a perfect example of the care, craftsmanship, and teamwork that go into every sanctuary we serve. We’re honored to help churches create beautiful worship spaces that will serve their congregations for years to come. 🙌

WOW! What a transformation!

This sanctuary facelift included a stage remodel, fresh paint, beautiful new carpeting, and a handcrafted pulpit built by our friend Bobby Stewart. The choir area has also been updated with new chairs, and the matching pew cushions are currently being completed.

What a beautiful update to Foster Chapel Baptist Church in Roebuck, SC!

Our teams recently completed a full sanctuary refresh with new pew upholstery and carpet, and the transformation is incredible. The updated flooring and freshly upholstered pews have completely brightened the look of the church — and those pews look a whole lot more comfortable too!

A beautiful transformation at First Baptist Church in Hopewell Virginia!

At first glance, the “before” photos might not have looked that bad — but looks can be deceiving. Beneath the surface, the old foam had literally turned to sand, making the seats extremely uncomfortable.

What started as a simple seat-only upholstery project quickly turned into a two-week restoration. As our Team Leader, Mike Snow, explained, “You can’t just cover this stuff up. It will just come back through the foam and fabric over time.” He was absolutely right. Cutting corners would have only created bigger problems down the road.

So our team rolled up their sleeves and did the job the right way — scraping and removing all the deteriorated material, thoroughly cleaning each frame, and installing brand-new 2-inch high-density foam. The result? Not only a beautiful, refreshed appearance, but seating that is significantly more comfortable and built to last.
