Deciding that they wanted to put their entrepreneurial and creative DNA to use along with their passion for landscaping and lawn maintenance, Dave Cedrone and Rob Ali, two products of the south shore, launched Snug Harbor Landscape in the summer of 2013. Although a new landscape company, Dave and Rob are not new to the business. Dave ran a successful landscape business on the south shore for over 12 years, and was a foreman with another, as well as almost 10 years with a municipal parks and recreation department where he does tree, landscape, and lawn care work. Rob worked with a leading landscape company for six years, doing all manner of landscaping and has since honed his skills transforming several properties he has owned in his travels while serving in the Army for over 20 years. As an Army officer, Rob was a leader and manager, gaining valuable operational excellence and project management skills --- necessary for a successful small business and one of Snug Harbor Landscape’s value propositions for our customers.
Dave and Rob were tired of some tradesmen and contractors not calling them back and when they did, not showing up for estimates or generally being unresponsive and uncommunicative.
They knew to succeed they needed to let their natural instincts to help others and provide useful, realistic, and sensible landscape advice and deliver excellent services and solutions – with value-added, competitive pricing.
