Behind every fundraiser is a story.
For us, this one is personal.

As we celebrate Toolkit's 5th anniversary, we're honoring people who have impacted our own Toolkit family.

Our Blood Cancer United campaign is dedicated to those affected by leukemia, including Bert Bennett, father-in-law of our Project Director, Mackenzie Bennett, who recently completed his chemotherapy treatments, and Carlie Jo Johnson, daughter of our Lead Installation Specialist, Doug Johnson, and sister of Installation Specialist, Hayden Johnson. After a courageous 19-month battle with leukemia, Carlie Jo passed away last year, but her strength and legacy continue to inspire us.

Our National Breast Cancer Foundation campaign is inspired by Robyn Pittman, our Resource Director, who is currently battling breast cancer with incredible courage and determination.These aren't just causes to us. They're people we know, love, and stand beside.

Meet Sarah Dutton, Finance Coordinator.

If you've ever worked with Sarah, you know one thing is true... she doesn't miss much.

As our Finance Coordinator, Sarah supports our Finance Director by setting up awarded projects, tracking costs, assisting with billing, and helping ensure every project has the financial foundation it needs to succeed. Her attention to detail keeps things running smoothly, and her teammates know they can count on her to get it right.

But what makes Sarah such a valuable part of Toolkit has very little to do with spreadsheets or numbers.

Sarah is one of the most genuine and selfless people you'll ever meet. She's a creative problem solver who is always willing to step in and help, even when the challenge falls outside her role. She has a unique way of saying what needs to be said with honesty, wisdom, and kindness, always choosing words that build others up.

She's a trusted teammate, a listening ear, and someone who quietly serves others every day. Her faith is evident in the way she loves people, puts others before herself, and reflects Christ in both the big moments and the small ones.

We're incredibly grateful for Sarah and the heart she brings to our team. Thank you for all you do, Sarah!
