Well, it's been an interesting past several months. Not all things go according to plan and, well, life happens.
That being said, starting this year, I am now offering limited cabin shutdown and start up services, as well as off season site monitoring/check up services, in addition to other handyman services.

The cabin shutdown/start up services will include, but are not limited to: pipe blowout/draining, pump shut down/start up, winterization of toilets, traps, etc... and other basic needs.

Prices will be negotiable and based, in large part, on the size of the cabin/home as well as the number of fixtures that need to be winterized.

My usual handyman services will also be available including plumbing, electrical, minor carpentry work, etc...

With over 30 years of experience, a wide knowledge base, and the ability to think outside of the box, I am quite capable of solving many or your problems and get your projects done in a professional manner.

Unlike some of the "big name" companies and many of the others advertising their services around the northwoods, i answer messages and once you have become one of my clients, I will always answer/return your calls.

Site evaluations are free if the location is within a reasonable distance of Eagle River. Rhinelander, Minocqua, Land-o-lakes, and the immediate surrounding areas included. Further distances driven for a site evaluation may vary a bit but I generally don't charge much and that will be discussed prior to arrangements being made for me to stop by for the evaluation.

One of the larger jobs I completed towards the end of August.
Replaced rotted out steps down to a boat dock. Each step is made out of three 6×6 submersion rated timbers four foot long with ten steps total.
There was definitely some heavy lifting involved but I am quite pleased with the outcome and so was the client.

Spring is here once again.
The snow is melting, the ice is retreating, and the ravages of winter are slowly being revealed.

Spring is nearly here in the northwoods and the time for repairs and minor maintenance is coming fast.
I am available for many small jobs that most other companies will either overdid or flat out refuse to take.

Spring had finally sprung here in the Northwoods and many are arriving to open their vacation homes and cabins. Sometimes as you do so, you find little things that aren't quite right...
Holes in your screens, minor electrical issues, leaky faucets, or any of a number of other nuisance problems.
Maybe you want a new ceiling fan installed or an old one replaced.
Maybe some birds or other wildlife clogged up your dryer vent.

As the weather gets colder, the types of jobs evolve.
Recent work done:
Another wobbly toilet fixed.
Instalation of a garbage disposal.
Heater installed.
More miscellaneous electrical work including outlets, switches, etc...
And still others to come.
If the next few weeks go as planned, I may be able to add more services to the growing list including one that many in the northwoods of Wisconsin are always needing done during the winter.

Tapped into the two-phase that was running out to the garage, spliced in the wiring, and now they have a fully function wet location outdoor outlet.
