Last year as i started my journey of my lawncare business full time as i had to put it all in God's hands. He repeatedly blessed me with customer after customer. Shortly after i started caring for one if my customers yards, her neighbor had walked over and asked me a few questions about caring for his. The next week i had gained a new customer. We soon hit it off and it became a weekly thing to sit on his porch as he would always have me a cold water or Gatorade waiting. We would sit and chat for about 30 minutes or so. Shortly after i had been caring for his yard he was diagnosed with cancer. He started chemotherapy, several months later he was cancer free. A couple of months ago he had told me his cancer was back and worse this time. It had progressed a lot quicker this time and was no time for treatments. The doctors gave him a very short time to live. Within weeks he had been moved to a hospice hospital. His wife called me today to let me know he had passed. It is a sad day, but God has gained a good man. I will miss my weekly chats with him as well as his laugh. Mr. Jim Childs you will be missed. Please keep his wife Julia and his family in your prayers.
