This project was designed to create a clean, safe, and long-lasting play space for our client’s kids to enjoy for years to come.
We started by excavating and preparing the area to establish proper grade and layout. Railroad ties were then installed to create the raised perimeter, followed by a double layer of commercial-grade w**d fabric to help prevent future growth and maintain separation from existing soils. The area was then finished with a thick layer of playground wood chips for both safety and appearance.
To complete the project, the surrounding areas were brought back to grade with fresh loam and prepared for hydroseeding this fall to establish a healthy, finished lawn.
