This expansive kitchen in Sussex County, NJ, is filled with thoughtful details, beautiful craftsmanship, and unique touches that reflect the character of the property's rural mini-farm setting.
✨ Custom Cabinetry: Omega-framed, non-beaded inset cabinetry featuring Puritan and Plainfield door styles.
✨ Architectural Details: A custom shiplap ceiling adds visual interest, while a substantial drop beam repurposed from the property helps define the space.
✨ One-of-a-Kind Features: The hood apron was crafted using wood from felled trees on the property, bringing a meaningful, personal touch to the design.
✨ Beautiful Finishes: Two distinct backsplash treatments—tile and granite—are complemented by beaded paneling above the backsplash on one wall. A granite apron replaces the traditional drawer overlay in front of the sink.
✨ Storage & Style: Wallpaper adds an unexpected decorative element behind the illuminated glass-door cabinets, while a LeMans corner unit provides clever storage.
✨ Finishing Touches: Rich, dark wood flooring contrasts beautifully with the white cabinetry, while stainless steel appliances and a spacious island with seating for four complete the kitchen.
From the repurposed natural materials to the carefully selected finishes, every detail contributes to a kitchen that's as distinctive as the home itself.
