On this seaside property, every view matters. The pool was carefully sited at the side of the house, providing convenient access from the interior while remaining out of the primary sightline from the main living spaces to the water. Rather than competing with the view, it establishes its own connection to the waterfront. The result is a home and landscape that respond thoughtfully to the site.

A look at the exterior detailing and main living spaces of an early 19th century Greek Revival home, renovated to preserve its historic character while accommodating modern living.

The original exterior form and character were maintained, while contemporary additions that had accumulated at the rear over time were replaced with simple vernacular forms that complement the historic structure.
