The Manor

The Manor The Manor was built in 1906 and was home to a steam boat captain and his family. It currently is a private residence with no interior tours available.

The Manor has a lot of history since it was founded. Rumor is that in the 40's, a cereal commercial was filmed on the front porch although no footage can be found after much time looking. In the 80's a fire nearly leaved the historical house. It went through construction and even survived again after large trees came crashing down on the roof several years ago. It now serves as a reminder of the history in the area that has been forgotten over time.
