We wrapped up the interior trim package including painting it all along with the interior doors in Roque Bluffs. Now we're off to South Addison to do a small job to finish the week out and then we'll bounce back to the Holmes Bay area on the Cutler road to start a small mudroom Addition with a covered deck area early next week.

Hammond Lumber Company is donating $100,000 to the Maine Strong Memorial Foundation to support those directly affected by this tragedy. The Foundation is working closely with the Town of Searsmont and official community representatives to ensure donations go directly to the individuals injured and the family of the individual who lost their life.

What a awesome time it was at the 2026 Hammond Lumber Expo in Augusta. They truly go above and beyond for their contractors. Just when you think the show couldn't get any bigger it does. While at the show we talked with the Owen Corning roofing sales rep about the process to become a preferred installer so we'll be working on that soon. As always there's never enough time to chat with all of the vendors.

As you can imagine it's a hard job keeping up with the latest materials on the market. Tomorrow will be the annual Hammond Lumber contractor show in Augusta at the civic center where a lot of us Contractors from all over Maine will have the opportunity to meet representatives and collect brochures from all sorts of companies. Everything from interior finishes to the exterior including framing materials. There's also classes/seminars that we can attend. Tomorrow all of us at Sul Lago Builders LLC will be attending to gain more knowledge and take advantage of their massive tool cave where they always have excellent deals & discounts for the day.
