But just as important - always remember. Remember not just the grief but also the unity. Remember how we became a unified nation - on that tragic day and days that followed we were all simply Americans. Our petty squabbles, our political divisions were pushed aside and we became a nation of patriots. Always remember that we can overcome our differences and work towards a common goal. Always remember that ALL of us, regardless of race, religion, creed, sexual preference, or political opinion, ALL of us are citizens of these United States. Always remember that it is the people of a nation that make that nation strong, that make that nation great. Always remember that when our nation needs her people that we the people can overcome our differences and come together for the greater good.
