This past Monday, we kicked off our annual United Way Week of Giving with breakfast and an opportunity to learn more about the incredible impact United Way and its partner organizations have in our communities.

This year's Heart of Illinois United Way speaker, Heather Robertson, Vice President of Resource Development, shared how the organization continues to make a difference throughout our region. We were also honored to welcome Dr. Derrick Booth, Executive Director of Community Services for Trillium Place, an affiliate of Carle Health, who shared Trillium's mission, the lives they impact every day, and how United Way's community partnerships and funding help strengthen organizations like theirs.

A special thank you to Heather and Dr. Booth for taking the time to share your stories, insights, and the meaningful work your organizations do every day. Your passion and dedication inspire us all to give back and make a difference.

We're excited to kick off another great Week of Giving and celebrate the power of coming together to make a difference. Every gift, no matter the size, helps create stronger, healthier communities and supports organizations that change lives every day.

Safety isn't just a priority. It is a core value that guides everything we do.

"Safety is Everyone's Responsibility" is more than a slogan. It's a commitment that comes to life through ongoing training and the actions our team takes every day to ensure everyone goes home safely.

We were honored to welcome Nathan Griffiths, Senior Safety and Leadership Consultant with Caterpillar, for a full day of training with our industrial and safety teams.

Together, we worked through the S.T.A.R.T. (Supervisor Training in Accountability and Recognition Techniques) program, a skills-based workshop designed to reinforce the foundations of a strong safety culture while equipping leaders with practical tools to drive accountability, recognition, and continuous improvement.

For over four decades, our partnership with Caterpillar has been built on shared values, mutual trust, and an unwavering commitment to protecting our people. By investing together in leadership development and safety education, we're ensuring that safety remains more than a policy. It's part of who we are.

As we enjoy time with family and friends this Independence Day, we encourage everyone to make safety part of the celebration. Whether you're traveling, grilling, watching fireworks, or spending the day outdoors, take a few extra moments to protect yourself and those around you.

At MRM, safety isn't just part of our work. It's a value we carry every day. We are grateful for our employees, clients, partners, and communities, and we wish everyone a fun, relaxing, and most importantly, safe Fourth of July.

Summertime = celebration time!

Every summer, our office locations and companies, A & H Steel, MR Mason Contractor, LLC, River City Construction, LLC, and River City Design Group, LLC, come together to celebrate what matters most: safety and the incredible men and women in our field operations.

Our greatest measure of success is ensuring that every employee returns home safely at the end of each day. The dedication, teamwork, and commitment our field crews demonstrate everyday show that safety is more than a priority; it's a core value. Their hard work and unwavering focus on doing the job safely are what make excellence possible on every project.

Thank you to all of our field employees for your commitment to keeping yourselves, your teammates, and our jobsites safe. We appreciate everything you do!

Join us on Friday, September 25, for an afternoon of friendly competition, live music, food trucks, raffles, and great company, all while supporting an incredible cause.

The River City Construction, LLC Foundation is dedicated to strengthening local high school trades programs by providing opportunities and resources that empower students and help build the future of construction.

We’re proud to announce that MR Mason Contractor, LLC has been recognized with the ABAA Air Barrier QAP Award. This award is presented to contractors who demonstrate exceptional quality in air barrier installation, typically by completing at least five site audits with zero issues. It reflects the consistency, craftsmanship, and attention to detail our team brings to every project.
