Warm temperatures and rain have you planning for spring? Something to remember as you make your plans, don't forget to monitor soil temperature. You should be targeting a soil temperature of 55 degrees Fahrenheit or more before putting down fertilizer or overseeding. You can monitor soil temps here (https://www.greencastonline.com/tools/soil-temperature) or keep an eye on those plants that rely on soil temperature for spring blooming. A great example of this is the Forsythia shrub, pictured below.
