Another kitchen in the record books!. I was contacted by a client who I do regularly business with about his brother having a fire in the kitchen. After we priced it out and battled with the insurance companies to get them what they deserve we remove the most damaged part of the sheetrock and then kilns the rest to save on costs instead of gutting the entire house. Once everything was demoed and ready for the install new high hats were installed to show off the brand new kitchen everything is symmetrical and everything is centered for anybody that has OCD. After sheetrocking and spackling we painted with an Alpine green to bring out the rustic look because the house does look cabin like. Brand new cabinets installed and a butcher block custom cut for a corner cabinet we had a hard time finding any type of corner cabinet to where we could put the sink that wasn't a lazy Susan so we ended up hand making the corner cabinet to accommodate any type of plumbing fixtures etc which gave us I would say 9 ft² underneath. Which is huge new outlets new switches new appliances a new hood new trim and pergo flooring with the same pattern as the old floor A little tough to match the color because of the sun fading the floor you could sand down the entire other floor and stain but we are trying to stay on a budget. And due to it being so close to Christmas we decided to throw in the hallway getting painted and getting rid of that ugly yellow color. A new oven and new hood / range
New handles new look and a new lease on life something about having a brand new kitchen makes you feel better about cooking especially we spend the majority of your time at home.
With that also came the addition of new dining room lights decorative sphere looking rustic light beautiful and then a rustic type metal guard / fence instead of the 1980s " b**b" light
