Strauser Nature's Helpers is a leading Commercial Landscape & Snow Management company looking for Snow Removal Grounds Crew Members for the upcoming Snow Season. Snow Removal Ground Crew Members may have the opportunity to switch to a landscaping position after the snow season ends, based on availability.

Snow Removal Grounds Crew Members will be in charge of clearing our customer's walkways, doorways, common areas and some driveway areas either with shovels or snow blowers. The role may also include spreading salt and de-icing products across surfaces to prevent ice formation.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Field managers! You’ll lead and manage a crew of laborers, help train landscape skills, learn plant ID and ecological landscape services, work with co-field managers to manage company equipment, and also have the opportunity to also learn soft skills that focus on leadership, management, teambuilding, and how to grow into a higher management position. We are also willing to train someone to this manager-level position if they already possess the technical skills.

WHAT YOU NEED:

Driver’s license

2-3 years running a landscape maintenance Crew

Experience in general landscape maintenance work including safe use of landscape maintenance equipment and familiarity with services including (but not limited to): mowing, trimming, mulching, installation of seasonal flowers, pruning, and spring and fall cleanups

Ability to complete physical work and be on your feet for long periods of time.
