Cornerstone Paving Inc, located in Dewitt NY, is in search of multiple CDL B drivers/laborers. This position start at $52/hr depending on locale. Right now we really need somebody who has experience driving CDL B dump truck hauling paving and earthwork materials, but we are always looking for applications meeting the general criteria for our employment. Our work consists of 90%-95% Posted Rate work, which is $52/hour plus depending on location, what benefits you take and your 401k contributions. Your off rate hourly wage will depend on experience and credentials. ALL OF OUR WORK IS LOCAL, you are home every night. We are also looking for CDL A truck drivers. We are one of the few companies that pay our truck drivers prevailing wage while on prevailing wage work. Qualified applicants can start immediately. We currently need 2 full time CDL B drivers, to start immediately. You will also be REQUIRED to labor and need to be able to do so. We are always looking for applications for laborers, operators, CDL A and B drivers , especially those with asphalt paving experience. We have an excess amount of work for the year. We are in the process of putting another whole crew together to complete extra work. Employment requirements:
-you must have reliable transportation to our Dewitt location daily
-ABSOLUTLEY must have clean and valid NYS Drivers license -as you will be required to drive from time to time. Some positions will require daily driving
-must be able to operate manual transmission and vehicle towing light duty trailer
-be relatively physically fit- be able to work long days in the high summer heat and sun doing physical activity
-you will be required to work 6 day weeks when asked to do so- we typically work 8-16 six-day weeks per year during our busy season when necessary- we absolutely try to work half days/ light days on Saturdays.
- must have enthusiastic attitude towards work and willingness to learn and pay attention
-must have atleast 1 positive work reference
