Notes from supplier regarding tariffs:
1. White cedar shingle prices have increased 25% with a thin supply chain.
2. Aluminum fastener supply and pricing at risk.
3. Spruce products have increased prices by 8-10% and another 5-7% increase is expected.
4. SPF lumber saw a reduced production in Canada, so may see a shortage in the short term until domestic production can ramp up.

It has been brought to our attention that someone is making phone calls using our Caller ID info (business name & phone number). Imitating phone numbers is part of what scammers do, and unfortunately there isn't much that we can do about it.
Please do not give out any personal information to anyone that calls looking for it!

I took a call this morning from someone who was concerned about the workmanship and failure to follow correct building codes on a project completed by another contractor. I referred them to their local building authority to get their questions answered.

But, this is a good reminder that when hiring any trade professional, be sure they are:
1. Licensed (Mass =Construction Supervisor and Home Improvement Contractor),
2. Insured (liability and workmens comp),
3. Sign a contract, and
4. Secure a building permit.

Shipping and transportation continue to be an issue, and we are still experiencing delays in obtaining materials. Although we do have an extensive supplier network, some materials just aren’t available across the board. And then some materials are ready but sitting on a truck somewhere, waiting for a driver...*sigh*. Patience is definitely a virtue these days. Thanks for yours!

In 23 years of business, we have never experienced such a demand for our services as this. We are extremely grateful for the work from our loyal customers, but unfortunately, it also means that we have to limit the number of additional new customers and/or projects.
We are human and can only do so much in a day.
