Meet the Team Monday!
We are happy to introduce you to Charles Wentz, one of our Landscape Designers.
A native of Philadelphia, Charles Wentz came to Cape Cod in 1991. That same year he came to work for Ponderosa Landscaping, and has been beautifying properties all over the Cape ever since. Charles’ passion involves jobs within a conservation area: explaining to the client the philosophical reasoning and methods for the job, devising a plan that’s acceptable to the conservation commissions, and then executing it to everyone’s satisfaction. With his extensive knowledge of plants and horticulture, his professional expertise and artistic eye, Charles takes pride in helping to create environments for people to enjoy. Outside of landscaping, Charles has two grown children, three grandchildren, and loves walking, observing nature, and photography.

Meet the Team Monday continues! We are happy to formally introduce Jennifer Floyd, the new Ponderosa Garden Center manager.
Since the early 1990’s Jennifer has worked in the horticulture industry on Cape Cod doing a multitude of different jobs. Starting off her career in garden centers, then moving out into the field to work as a gardener, and then later specializing in growing and designing with perennials. She is now enjoying her role as Ponderosa Garden Center Manager and Ponderosa Landscaping's Plant Buyer. As a native Cape Codder, she is passionate about sharing her knowledge of native plants and ecological gardening practices. When not working, you will find Jen exploring hiking trails, hanging out at the beach with friends and family, and reading lots and lots of books!

Today we are starting a new series on our page, Meet the Team Monday! We open this series with Lynn Rossetti, our fabulous Business Manager. Many of you may have spoken with Lynn over the phone, she has been with Ponderosa since 2018. Lynn grew up all over New England, and after graduating was honored to have served her country in the US Navy, stationed in Japan. After returning to the states and living in Charleston, SC she found herself back in Maine. She came to Cape Cod “on vacation” in 1988 and never left. She has lived in Brewster and now North Eastham with her husband Joe and their 2 cats for almost 35 years. She loves shoulder seasons on the outer Cape, traveling, but her true passion is her grandchildren.
