Permeable pavement is a valuable piece of green stormwater infrastructure — but it only works when the aggregate-filled joints stay clear. As sediment, organic matter, and vegetation accumulate, the surface's infiltration capacity drops sharply, eventually causing it to shed water like conventional pavement and defeating the purpose of the original installation.

Our restoration process uses high-power vacuum recovery combined with a surface cleaning head to remove clogged material from the joints and reinstate the void space that allows water to infiltrate. All removed sediment and debris is captured for proper disposal, keeping it out of the storm sewer system.
