On Saturday, March 21, 2026, Phillip Powell, Kelli Edge, and their family lost their home due to a fire. The entire home and its contents were a total loss. Phillip was severely burned and is currently in the Augusta ICU Burn Center. Over the next several months, he will have to endure multiple surgeries and procedures. Phillip was part of the Massingill Expert Services Crew for many years and is still a part of the Massingill Expert Services Family.
If you know Philip and Kelli, then you know they would always do anything they could to help anyone in need. Phillip and Kelli volunteered to do the cooking for the GS Walker Turkey Invitational banquet, which helped raise money to help support two local Families who are facing Cancer. They were planning to be there early Saturday morning. We never know when tragedy will strike or when God has other plans for us, but we know God has a plan for Phillip.
We are asking for, first and foremost, to pray for Phillip and his family. Massingill Expert Services will be taking donations to help ease the financial burden he and his family are facing at this time. Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, the ability to work with power and hand tools, and a commitment to safety standards. Pay based on experience.
Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Prepping / Installing Meter Base
• Running underground & Overhead Services
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations during all electrical work.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient project completion.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety standards.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to electrical work.
• Ability to read technical documents and blueprints effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical work are advantageous.

Job description / summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical knowledge and have a passion for maintaining and repairing HVAC systems. This role is a vital part of our operations, and the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring our equipment is running efficiently and safely. As an HVAC Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of systems, including air conditioning, ammonia refrigeration, and HVAC/R. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC systems, including cleaning filters and checking refrigerant levels
- Troubleshoot and repair air conditioning and heating systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC/R systems to prevent breakdowns
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix issues with plumbing and mechanical components
- Operate a van for transportation to job sites

Qualifications:

- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience as an HVAC Technician or Service Technician
- Strong mechanical knowledge and skills
- Experience with air conditioning and HVAC/R systems
- Ability to maintain and repair plumbing and mechanical components
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems
- Certification as a HVAC/R Technician (optional but preferred)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- A valid van driver's license and a clean driving record

Pay: $18.00 - 26.00 per hour ( based on experience)
