We did a little electrical hand hole re set today. The prior site contractor was fired and it’s clear why. The hand hold was 3” above grade in the “finished pavement” My 16” chop saw couldn’t make it through the asphalt which turned out to be about 12” thick. In some spots. Never mind the fact that there was a missing piece of curb. Which the customer told us to leave out. Will McNeice will pave the patch for us tomorrow.

We started a new septic system today. Not exactly tons of room to work. We had to explore and “find” what the old cesspools looked like. This gave us some idea of what we are up against. In this case the cesspool was way bigger and deeper than expected.

Smith and Sons ten wheeler is shiny. A little stressful loading it but we much appreciate the help getting rid of unscreened loam.

This week was a grind. Started Monday and the pavers showed this morning and got this job wrapped up. Far less than ideal timing of permits and approvals but we got it done in time for closing Monday.

Printing money. Making 3” minus full with my rotostar. It’s actually configured with 2 of the 5 shafts with 3” opening the other 3 shafts are 3/4”
