While this was a personal project in my own basement, it’s a great example of thinking outside of the box when it comes to ways of finishing a ceiling in this space as opposed to drywall or a drop ceiling. Hiding the LED lights above the slats gives a unique appearance and reduces the jarring effect overhead basement lights can have. And last but not least a 12x24 putting green for those cold Ohio winters 😄

Wrapped up a fun project to end 2024! 🛠️ We finished this cozy basement with sleek LVP flooring, added a stylish half bathroom, upgraded the stairs, and even installed a custom hidden bookshelf door!😎 It's always a blast transforming spaces with a little creativity. Some clients won’t let you leave and that’s a good thing! This client found me online and had a list that kept growing through the summer. From a complete new bathroom build and drop ceiling in their basement, new walk door awnings and concrete pads, downspout drainage trenching, vinyl siding repair, as well as seal coating the driveway.

The basement bathroom utilizes a Saniflo Upflush system that ties together drainage from the shower, vanity sink and toilet. Due to the main drain line being 5ft above the bathroom location, this allows for easy installation where typical plumbing solutions are not possible.

Some before and after shots from a limestone retaining wall and stairs project last week. Pressure washed, tuckpointed as needed, recapped missing areas and capped the stairs. Loved seeing this one come together!

Access through normal 48”fence gates can be tricky. With a width of 40” I can get into those hard to access locations with multiple attachments.

After and before of a front porch refresh. Wrapping existing columns gives them width, and by choosing the appropriate coloration, can give your space a whole new look. Additional fascia boards added and painted along with contrasting drip edge and modern house numbers to set it all off.
