🚧 BURKE COUNTY 🚧

Quaker Rd is officially open to traffic!

Our crews have put the finishing touches on this project, and last week, the road was reopened to the traveling public!

From the first pile driven to the final touches, a lot of hard work went into bringing this bridge to completion. We’re proud of the work our team put in and grateful to all of our subcontractors and partners who helped make it happen.

Another bridge built, another project across the finish line, and another community moving forward!

25 years ago today, 2,977 innocent lives were taken in an act of unimaginable evil.

They were mothers and fathers. Sons and daughters. Husbands and wives. Friends, coworkers, and neighbors. Ordinary people who left home that morning never knowing they wouldn’t return.

Today, we remember the 2,977.
We honor the heroes who ran toward danger.
We remember the families who have carried that loss for 25 years.
And we will NEVER FORGET.

25 years later, their names still matter.
Their lives still matter.
Their stories still matter.

Today, as we celebrate 250 years of American independence, we’re reminded that the freedoms we enjoy every day didn’t come without sacrifice.

Freedom isn’t free. It has been earned and protected by the brave men and women of our Armed Forces—past and present—who have answered the call to defend this great nation. Their courage, dedication, and selfless service are the foundation of the freedoms we often take for granted.

The progress keeps rolling on Barford Rd!

This week, the roadway was officially paved, bringing us one step closer to the finish line. Our crews have been working hard to keep this project moving, and it’s exciting to see it all coming together.

Keep an eye out… this bridge will be opening to traffic VERY soon! 👀

A few weeks ago, our crews kicked off the bridge deck pours on Barford Rd… and today, the barrier wall was slip formed! Another major milestone checked off as this project continues coming together. 💪

The finish line is getting close — traffic should be rolling across this bridge in just a few short weeks! 👀🔥

Big progress for our bridge project on Barford Rd over Joe’s Creek.

Friday, our crews poured the first span of the bridge deck—marking a major step forward on this project. With one span down, we’re preparing to pour the remaining spans this week and keep pushing ahead.
