Hope everyone has enjoyed the mild winter so far - but it appears we are in for some proper January temps in the coming days. Friendly reminders - make sure your furnace filter is clean, and it is advised to avoid setting your thermostat back while at work or sleeping (while temps are below zero), as it may cause your system to struggle keeping you comfortable. As always, if you need some help, give us a shout!

Hi all - evidently, we have not received FB messages for close to seven months, and we just discovered the error today. If you sent us a message and we did not respond, our sincere apologies, and we're working to correct the issue quickly, now that we know about it.

As it stands, the best way to get ahold of us is to call - if we don't answer, we're likely working to repair equipment. Please leave a message, and we WILL return your call in a timely manner.

Thanks!

Hope everyone is safe and healthy! Just a quick reminder during this bitterly cold week:

1) Setting your thermostat back when you go to work or bed during these extremely cold temperatures is NOT advised; it can create problems for the furnace to recover your original desired temperature, and possiblly create a situation where your vent pipe can freeze.

2) Replace your filter now! During extended run times, a dirty filter can cause the furnace to cycle or shut down on limit when not provided with the proper airflow through the heat exchanger.

3) Inexpensive, non-restrictive filters are highly recommended during extended periods of extreme cold.

If you have any questions, please call us!

As temperatures drop over the next few days, here's some reminders to make sure you don't experience issues with your heating system:

1) Do NOT set your thermostat back when you go to work, or go to bed; your furnace will have a difficult time in extreme weather recovering a large temperature differential. It is best practice, when you experience these types of low temps, to set your thermostat at a single temperature, and keep it there for the duration of the cold weather.

2) Change your filter, if you haven't done so within the last month; your furnace will be running regularly, which means it will need adequate airflow.

3) If you believe you have an issue, don't be afraid to call your service technician.

Stay warm!

We hope you're staying warm during the blistering cold! Just a friendly tip, make sure your furnace's filter is clean and unobstructed, particularly when the temperature drops below zero. Dirty filters, or filters that are too restrictive for your system can cause your heat exchanger to over-heat, and lead to faulty operation - and nobody wants that!

But, if you are in need of prompt, accurate service for your system, day or night, we're just a phone call away. :)
