Every time I go out shoveling now, I will pick a random house and shovel the driveway and sidewalks.
Back story....
Its because, the first big snowfall we had this winter i was driving between my regular snow removal customers and i seen an older gentleman probably in his 80s or close to it shoveling the bank at the end of his driveway. I pulled over and got out with my shovel and offered to take care of it for him. No charge. Anyways he would not accept any help without paying me, i told him i wouldn't take his money but i would still do it for him. He said he would take care of it himself. I think he was actually upset that i wouldnt accept his payment, so i just asked him again if he was sure, apologized, and went on my way.
The next time i went by was late at night and his driveway wasnt done yet, so i pulled over again and took care of it and left. I figure people cant refuse the help if they dont know where it is coming from. Right?
So, if you wake up one day or come home to your sidewalks and driveway shoveled.... You're welcome. Lol.
Maybe i did it for you, or maybe it wasnt me... Who knows right?
