The Maine Deck Bracket is used to secure deck ledgers to houses while at the same time allowing water to pass between the house and rim. We made 4” thick mounting blocks, applied 3) 5” of polyiso over that to flush out our insulation layers amd covered w 1/2” CDX. That gives about an R-10 while the surrounding is R-21.
